
Most of the cars that come to us in spring with problems went into storage without preparation. Here is our checklist.
Before it goes in
Change the oil, brim the tank with stabiliser, and over-inflate the tyres a little.
While it stands
Keep the battery on a conditioner and the humidity low. Leave the handbrake off.
When it comes out
Check the brakes, the fluids and the tyres before the first drive, and take the first few miles gently.
